2026 FIREWORKS · OFFICIAL INFORMATION CHECKED AUG 24
Choose the exit
before the view.
Seoul and Busan are reachable without a car, but a fireworks night does not behave like a normal metro trip. This guide separates confirmed facts from pending transport notices and keeps every Korean name you need for local apps.
AT A GLANCE
Which city fits your route?
“Accessible by subway” does not mean the closest station will work normally after the show. A fireworks plan needs a second station and a return threshold.

- MAIN RISK

- EXIT RULE
- Save at least two alternative stations—such as Yeouido, Saetgang or Daebang—and be ready to wait 30 minutes after the show before moving.

KOREA-SPECIFIC HABITS
Four details locals prepare without explaining.
- 01Screenshot the Korean traffic notice
Temporary controls are often announced as Korean images shortly before the event.
- 02Do not rely on the nearest station
Police and metro staff may redirect the crowd to a different entrance or station.
- 03Buy food before entering the riverfront
Delivery and nearby convenience stores become unreliable inside the peak crowd.
- 04Agree to wait instead of pushing out
Leaving 30–60 minutes later can be easier than joining the first surge.
Editorial method: date, area, ticket and published transport details were checked against the Hanwha Seoul Fireworks Festival and Busan Fireworks Festival official sites. Unreleased timetables and event-day controls remain marked pending. Last reviewed 24 August 2026.
